Trouble for Senate Dems
  • The tax bill making its way thru Congress will ultimately end up being a huge problem for the 24 Senate Democrats up for reelection next November. They will vote against the final bill, then struggle to defend their vote when their constituents feel the financial relief and wonder why it didn't happen sooner. They will struggle to explain why they left the high tax rates in place while they controlled the White House & Congress. Their constituents from high taxed states (run by Dems year after year) will feel less tax relief and wonder why. The Senate Democrats will struggle for that answer too. Finally, their excuse for not voting for the bill because it adds to the deficit will be easily debunked since Democratic Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders proposed adding $21B to the deficit in 10 yrs. When it is all said and done, this tax bill will prove to be the gift that keeps on giving to the American people!
