phillip j's Email to Senator Kay R. Hagan

I gave you a grade of F.

When the Health Care Reform bill was being discussed I both wrote and called your office begging you to slow down, take time to read the bill and fully understand it. We both know that you did not, and we are now seeing the consequences of your malfeasance. Were you an employee of a corporation and committed it to such an unfavorable and dangerous contract, you'd have been fired immediately.

If you read the bill, you were an idiot to vote for it. The call for a 1099 form after an aggregate spending of 600.00 is absurd, as is the tremendous increase in agentss for the IRS called for by the bill.

You have been a puppet of your Masters, without a spark of independence or concern for North Carolina. You voted to give relief from increased medicare bills to Florida, Louisiana, and Nebraska. How is this good for North Carolina?

I believe that you lied when you said that you had read the bill. I do not believe you read the Financial Reform package, either. YOU ARE NOT PERFORMING THE MOST BASIC FUNCTIONS OF YOUR OFFICE.

I also enjoyed your votes for an increase in pay for yourself and your vote to steal from food stamp recipients to cover unioni salaries.

You have responded to each of my contacts with a forrm letter. If you can't bother to respond in person, I certainly won't vote for you. Both of my Republican legislators took the time to send me a personal response, by the way, even though I am an Independent.

I am very much looking forward to voting against you. I deeply regret that you can not be held more directly responsible for your actions by a recall vote.
